THE (UNSETTLING) POWER OF LUCK

Whenever people ask me advice for how to be a writer or content creator, I feel a sense of unease. Sure, there are certain general tips I can give--like don’t be precious and figure out your unique POV--but the truth is that my entire career has been built on luck. And not even luck that directly had to do with me. I am the grateful recipient of second-degree luck and without that I don’t know where I would be right now.
