MY BODY: What do you mean?
MY BRAIN: You have so many problems. Your knees! Your stomach! Constant dry eye. Frequent headaches. I feel like I’m taking care of you all the time.
MY BODY: Well, I like to think that we take care of each other—
MY BRAIN: Do you know how many doctors I’ve had to go to for you this last year?
MY BODY: Of course, I know. I was there.
MY BRAIN: It’s exhausting. It’s not even like there is one clear issue to deal with.
MY BODY: What about the hypermobility spectrum disorder thing? We might have that!
MY BRAIN: Might being the key word. You know I crave certainty.
MY BODY: Yeah, I’m not sure we’re going to be able to get that. I’m doing my best but there seems to be a bunch of different stuff going on. I’m trying to tackle things as they come--
