Could you share your itinerary for your bachelorette? All the activities look so much fun and I want something exactly like that for myself! Also, I relate to the friendship anxiety/insecurity thing. I think most of us do.
We played a bunch of bachelorette themed games my sister found! And then we also had options to go to the spa at the hotel, go horseback riding and paint pottery! Having it at this one resort kept things easy and people could pick what they wanted to do! Mostly it was just great to be together! And play me-centric games haha xoxo A
Thank you for sharing this breakthrough you’ve had. 💜 You, your sister and your friends looked like you were having a lot fun during your bachelorette weekend activities.
so lovely!! i'm so glad you go to have this experience. i was maid of honor for my best friend from college last year and both the bachelorette and wedding were so lovely and important to me, and reaffirming of our friendship despite not living in the same area. and the experience of getting to meet all the friends of my friend that i didn't know - scary at first for someone with social anxiety, but ended up being so nice!
I’m so happy you had an amazing bachelorette, you deserve it! I think anxiety takes a lot of time away from us, and any experience we can latch onto as a touchstone gives us some of that time back. The anxiety might creep back in, but hopefully for a shorter time if you can sprint to your touchstone. That’s been a big lesson for me in the last few years.
So glad you had a magical time with your friends and sister! 💜
This post was such a joy to read!! It's so true that change is an active choice we have to keep making. Something I keep needing to be reminded of again and again (and again lol).
I wonder why it is that despite all the tiny moments and the evidence against our negative thoughts about ourselves, sometimes we need that big, overwhelmingly positive experience to finally reject the false and harmful beliefs our brains throw at us, and change our interpretation of things.
I'm so glad your bachelorette weekend was not only a super fun time, but also fundamentally healing for your friendship/sister wounds. ❤️
That’s awesome!! Nice people like you deserve a wonderful support system💙
Thank you so much!! xox !
